Mavericks Disk Utility - Live System Repair Is Not Supported Error
A bug in the Mavericks disk handling is throwing up disk errors which the Apple Utility claims it can't fix. It got me here's how I backed up my data off the disk. If you have Mavericks I'd watch this as it appears its only a matter of time before the message pops up, and you'd be wise to be prepared.

Emptying The Cache In Mavericks Safari
Why can't software designers leave the user interface of software alone and concentrate on making it more stable and quicker you ask?
