Apple Developers of iTUNES 12.7, have done away with the really useful iPAD, iPhone and iPod APP's management Pages.

Although This Appeared To Be A Minor Inconvenience, My Recent Purchase of a really cool 2013 Classic "BONDAI Dog TechPet" from JAPAN  has Identified Some Serious Failings With iTunes 12.7 

Although this problem came about with the BANDAI TechPet APP it is not specific to the APP and applies to any APP registered only on a single countries APP Site.  In this case it was an APP on the Apple Japan site.

SOPHOS Anti-Virus For Apple Computers

I'd used SOPHOS on the PC very successfully for many years, so I thought I'd give it a try out on my Apple MacBook Pro.  I had problems installing it on SIERRA due to the Apple OSX increased security since OSX9 and the SOPHOS instruction were somewhat vague.

In my usual #fixed1tMACsupport manner I set out finding a good way to get over the installation bug.

Here is the fix:

Once SOPHOS is installed correctly, as shown in the video above, then it works like a charm.

I ran it overnight and it worked its way through over 32 million files.  Not only does it spot and kill viruses but it also finds and removes adware and sneaky programs, it found Genieo on my system:

Its one of those programs that claims to be useful but isn't and is a bugger to remove.  SOPHOS removed it and 24 other Threats.

The best news about SOPHOS is its free and it works.

2) An official Apple Lightening to USB adapter.  It only works with the Apple Adapter, there are cheaper alternative but they are really for charging and won't work as Bi-Directional ports which you need for this project to work.

This is how to connect the parts to get your Wifi defective iPad or iPhone onto a LAN wired network.

If its a GSM device then it should be working via your GSM 3G or 4G when not connected to the network.

Here are links to the equipment you need:

1)  A Powered USB Hub, 4-port is best for portability.  It must be powered from an external power supply or the adapters will not work.
